a) Government that would provide fewer services, imposing lower taxes OR
b) Government that provides more services, imposing higher taxes
The results of the poll revealed that 70% of likely voters favor a Government that offers fewer services, imposing lower taxes. 88% of registered republicans polled shared this view. 78% of Independents shared this view. And surprisingly 48% of Democrats shared this view.
Only 19% of the people polled wanted a Government that offers more services in exchange for higher taxes. And surprisingly, among Democrats, only 34% agreed with this view.
This poll is bad news for President Obama, who seems to believe in policies of massive Government expansion and intervention in Private Sector, which will almost always raise taxes, to provide higher services.
Obama seems to think Government can intervene in the modus operandi of Automobile companies, Banks, Health Industry, etc; control and even run them. He seems to be for Government intervention and take over of many aspects of free markets. He seems to be from the school of thought of "Big Government, Higher Taxes, and More Services". He seems to think that it is ok for hardworking people to pay more in taxes, to take care of people who don't want to work. He seems to think that we should all work hard, and pay higher taxes, so that Government can take care of our neighbors who don't want to work.
But as Rasmussen poll released today says 70% of American People are not for "Big Government, Higher Taxes, and More Services", and disagree with Obama on this.
If Obama is a President who will listen to the people, he would stop the policies of Government expansion and massive Government intervention that he is implementing. He would let Capitalism and free markets operate the way it is intended to.

Post a CommentIt's easy to figure out who the true racists and bigots are trying to destroy Palin. All you have to do is read a few lines. They all say the same thing basically, none of which has any logic, moral, or educational value.
