1. Realtor
Everyone knows that realtors earn their living through leads. Their pay range depends on however much time they put into work. You can aim to sell one house every 2 weeks. Many people do real estate on the side of their real job to earn more income. However, the downside of this job is that not everyone can do it. You have to be talkative and convincing.
2. University Professor
The schedules of college faculty and university professors go accordingly to the class times. Classes can either be held in the daytime, nighttime or even on weekends. Many teacher assistants to post-secondary teachers only work a couple of days a week.
3. Hospitality Clerk
Such employees are receptionists at hotels, resorts, and motels. Their job is to check patrons in and out. They also process payments and accommodate guests to their needs. The industry of hospitality needs people working around the clock, which allows schedules to be flexible.
4. Taxi Driver
Because transportation will always be needed, taxi drivers can have flexible schedules. They have the ability to choose when to work, just like realtors. Similarly to the hospitality industry, the transportation industry is also a 24-hour industry.
5. Hairstylists
Hairstylists and barbers can also work whenever they want. Many of them pay the owner of the salons a portion of what they make which compensate for "rent.' They can choose to work or not because like realtors, hairstylists and barbers ultimately earn according to however many hours they put into their job.
6. Waiters/Waitresses, Hosts/Hostesses
Many restaurants are able to provide employees with flexible schedules. Like assistant professors, employees have the ability to choose whether they want to work in the daytime, nighttime, or weekends only. Restaurant staff all usually work part time only. For example, if you're a mother, you can work in the nighttime while your husband watches the children at night.
7. Retail Positions
Many people hold positions in the retail industry because it's flexible. You can choose to work full time or part time. Stores usually offer their employees discounts, so apply to work at your favorite store!
8. Freelance Workers
If you decide to be a freelancer, then your job can be extremely flexible. Associated Content offers its writers flexible schedules. You can write any time of the day, whether it's at noon while you're eating lunch or at 2 A.M. when you can't go to bed.
Though many of these jobs aren't high paying, remember, they work with your schedule. Spending time with your children and putting time aside to work on homework is crucial.
