N. Soltys
Christmas is never an easy time on anyone's wallet, especially when you consider all the little knickknacks you need to stuff into those stockings for everyone you care for. It's even more difficult to stuff those stockings when you're short on ideas, or you have such a diverse group of people to gift to that it's nearly impossible to find enough stuff everyone will enjoy! There are some simple, easy, and fun ways to stuff those stockings full to the brim without leaving you broke, and without leaving anyone disappointed.

Hygiene Accessories

New toothbrushes, fancy new flavored toothpaste, travel sized or seasonal stocking-sized soaps, shampoos, conditioners, and bubble baths are a fantastic addition to anyone's stocking, no matter what their age.

Seasonal Candy

Of course, the number one stocking stuffer has always been sweets, like candy and cookies. Some of the most popular seasonal stocking stuffer candies are candy coins, candy canes, and wrapped goodies like Jolly Ranchers candies or Tootsie Pops. Of course, succumbing to your sweet tooth isn't always the healthiest thing to do, but around the holidays perhaps it's a bit easier to let it slide! Seasonal candies come out around Christmas time that are specifically made for shoving into stockings, and that's what makes them one of the best and easiest stocking stuffers! The only tough part is figuring out who likes what kind of candy. (And it's helpful to pair the candy with a toothbrush and/or toothpaste!)

Pocket References

Helpful items that come in useful from day to day are also great ideas to put inside a holiday stocking. Things like a pocket dictionary, phrase book, star book (astronomy guide), or thesaurus can wind up being one of the most commonly used holiday gifts that you give.

Cell Phone Accessories

Nowadays, almost everyone has a cellphone, no matter what age group they fall in. Finding out what sort of phone the person your gifting has is important, so you don't buy the wrong stuff! A cell phone charm, cover, or something else suited for their particular phone is a very sweet gift indeed.

Small Electronics

Tiny electronic devices can be the greatest stocking stuffer yet! These can vary from anything like a USB flash drive to a Tamagotchi pet.You could also gift tiny helpful electronics like a mini calculator, small flashlight, or other useful items. Don't forget to toss in some extra batteries!

Scratch / Lottery Tickets

Though this isn't a favorite of everyone, many people love the excitement of finding a chance to get a quick hundred bucks in their stocking. Though many times it's often just a fun gift idea, sometimes your one dollar investment could turn into a holiday shopping spree for the person you've gifted the ticket to!

Movie Vouchers

The movies are getting more and more expensive, but still, more and more citizens are trudging into the theaters to dish out their hard earned cash to see a flick. That makes movie tickets and vouchers a great gift idea, especially since so many movies come out around the holiday season!
