Foundations with SPF coverage give you more product for your money on top of taking care of an important step most of us forget. Protecting your face and skin from the sun and sun damage is an increasingly important issue, but so many women don't apply sunscreen to their face on a daily basis. Instead of skipping the sun block, purchase a foundation formula that already has the sun block mixed into it.

Here are eight foundation formulas with SPF that you can find at your local drugstore.

Maybelline Mineral Powder Natural Perfecting Foundation
Maybelline Mineral Power gives you the barely there makeup results that are hard to achieve with the added benefits of added minerals and a healthy glow. The foundation comes with SPF 18 sunscreen protection making it perfect for dealing with the summer sun. Foundation coverage comes in light, medium and dark coverage and can be purchased in any drugstore ($10).

Revlon Custom Creations Foundation
This easy to use and customizable foundation from Revlon makeup with sunscreen protection comes with an SPF 15. A turn dial installed on the top of the bottle lets you adjust the coloring of your foundation to five different levels of coverage from light to dark, resulting in 30 shades. Available at drugstores for $14.

L'Oreal Bare Naturale Foundation
Another great mineral foundation, L'Oreal Bare Natural Foundation comes in a powder formula. The make up with sun block comes with an SPF of 19 and it doesn't even seem to change the composition of the foundation at all. L'Oreal Bare Naturale Foundation is available in drugstores or at

Neutrogena Mineral Sheers Powder Foundation
Neutrogena has several makeup with sun block selections, but their best by far is in the mineral sheers line. The powder foundation offers and SPF of 20, one of the highest available with makeup selections, and offers the benefits of a mineral foundation. Antioxidants that are in the natural minerals are released into your skin to give you a radiant finish while wearing and after. Available from drugstores for $20.

Wet n Wild Ultimate Sheer Tinted Moisturizer
This selection from Wet n Wild is a foundation and moisturizer in one. With an SPF of 15, the foundation has tinted moisturizer that gives your face a subtle glow that is safer than any color you can get from too much sun. The foundation comes in four tinted shades, from the subtlest of glows to full sun kissed bronze. Available from drugstores for $13.

Physician's Formula Sun Shield Liquid Foundation
Sun Shield is a great option for all skin types and serves double duty with the sunscreen that protects you from overexposure to the sun. I recommend this foundation for those that worry about freckles and hyper pigmentation problems on the face due to the sun. With an SPF of fifteen and at only $5, this option from Physician's Formula is a great choice.
