1982 was also the year Epic Records released Michael Jackson's album Thriller. It sold 40 million copies world wide, won 7 Grammy awards in 1984, landed a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records for the Best Selling Album, and The National Association of Recording Merchandisers listed the Thriller album at number 3 in their definitive 200 albums of all time.
This album has 9 songs such as, The Girl is Mine ( with Paul McCartney ), Billie Jean, Beat it ( Featuring Guitarists Eddie Van Hallen & Steve Lukather ), Wanna Be Starting Something, Human Nature, P.Y.T ( Pretty Young Thang ), & my personal favorite Thriller. Out of those 9 songs, 7 were released as singles and broke world records on their own.
Michael Jackson also had music videos for his songs which he called short films because they had a beginning, a middle & an end. Thriller, a 14 minute video, Beat it & other Jackson videos can be found atwww.youtube.com. If you are interested in finding a copy of the Thriller album log on to any of the following links.
