Seriously, I hated Tiffany for a while in the late eighties because of the rumors she was dating "New Kid On The Block" singer Jonathan Knight. Even though he was not my favorite, I was still possessive over all of them. I remember poking the eyes out of her cassette tape cover in a jealous rage at a sleepover. Ah...good times.
Now I am all grown up, and so is Tiffany. This summer she is releasing a new album.
Tiffany's began singing at a very early age. She was performing at nationwide fairs, special events, and appeared on Talent Search before the age of five! At 13 years old she signed a contract, and began to work on her first album "Tiffany". For promotional purposes, and to target her teen audience, she began performing all over the U.S. in shopping malls. You may remember this from her videos. It turned into 'phenomenon'.
Soon after, Tiffany was everywhere you turned. On the covers of all the teen magazines, leaving only maybe 3/4 devoted to New Kids on the Block. She was in newspapers, on MTV, and even appeared on the Tonight Show. "I Think We're Alone Now" and "Could've Been" were both #1 singles. She became a superstar!
Tiffany took a break from the spotlight in the early 1990's. "People think I disappeared. But I took time away to be a person, not just a personality." She explains on her website...... Tiffany took the time to grow, and experience 'life'.
Tiffany's new album "Just Me" will be released June 5th 2007. This year we are going to be seeing a lot of the 'new' Tiffany. She has been very busy! She is currently featured on the latest season of Celebrity Fit Club. Tiffany has been appearing on T.V. shows, and radio shows all over the place! Most recently she was on the The Tyra Banks Show, and Reality Chat on the T.V. Guide Channel. She is also touring, and will have a video completed very soon.
Don't worry; it's not going to be a Tiffany pop explosion this time around. Her music has also grown along with her. Her influences are more along the lines of Sheryl Crow, Natalie Merchant and Jewel.
No I don't really hate Tiffany; I only did for a brief moment. I am over it. I am looking forward to hearing Tiffany's new album in entirety. Samples can be heard at 10 Spot.com, and her voice sounds awesome, as it always has. Her lyrics are mature. With songs like "It'll Be Alright", "Anyone But Me", and "I Will Not Breakdown" she can still bring a tear to my eye. Only this time; on a deeper woman to woman level. On a I-have-been-there-level, not over a silly boy.

tiffany is an amazing singer. she has a wonderfull voice and talent. i bought her new cd "just me" almost year ago and it is so over played. my kids like her dust off and dance cd better. they like her music too. they just ask me why she isn't played on the local radio station. they're disappointed on that. she deserves more coverage.
