9 Insights of the Book The Celestine Prophecy

Celestine Prophecy has been a national phenomenon, and changed many people's belief of their world. James Redfield took the ideas of the Buddhist monks, the new age world, and the eastern taught metaphysics and combined them into a riveting tale of a young man looking for the answer to life, and finding it in an ancient manuscript called the Celestine Prophecy. The book recounts the adventure of looking for each of the 8 insights of the manuscript, and the final change of life that this manuscript could mean. Is this a tale of fiction and James Refield has said, or are these truly rules and insight into the reality of life? That answer is up to the reader; however, I've listed and explained each of the insights here so that you may judge for yourself.

Insight 1 - A new spiritual awakening is rushing through the world right now. This awakening is going through a number of people that realize that this is a awakening of the mind and the knowledge. This journey that we are on is guided by seemingly odd coincidences. There is no such thing as a coincidence, everything that happens has happened that was for a specific reason. Follow these odd coincidences, and you are on the right path.

Insight 2 - We have been a slave to religion and technology for years. Now is the time to pay attention tot he soul and the self. Our technology is merely a representation of what the actual reality of our world is. For example, our current communication technology is phenomenal.We can pick up a phone that can fit in our pocket with a bunch of other stuff, and that little phone can get on the Internet; which connects all knowledge. in addition to that, this little phone connects all people big, small, friend, or foe. This is equal to the energy that connects us all together.

Insight 3 - There is an energy that connects every living being. This energy can be seen as an outside representative by looking carefully at the aura or astral energy of each person. Not only does this energy exist, but we can see it, move it, and control it. As you begin to learn what to do with this energy, you learn that you can push energy into others and nature, where as nature and other people can do the same with you. This energy guides our coincidences and out paths. As a side note, scientific research has found that "all matter vibrates at a specific level according to the frequency of the strings that make it up." (Robert Green, The Elegant Universe) These strings and vibrations actually connect all of matter.

Insight 4 - People cut off their connection to this energy and the planet, therefore loose the connection to the earth and the Universe where this energy is centered. Because of this, people need to be renewed and the only way we as people know how to do it, is to attach ourselves to other people's energy.

Insight 5 - Violence and insecurity will continue till we are connected back to the energy. Because of people's insecurity(or lack of energy), it causes dependence of us to other people, instead of nature and the earth as it is suppose to be. When we stop looking to technology and inanimate objects to produce happiness and fulfilled feelings, we will become more connected with he real energy that is around us and all violence will stop.

Insight 6 - Once we are not connected to others, we are our own person. Once we learn how to connect to the earth and not others we are able to clear our head and see where our path takes us. It shows us what our purpose is in the world. Whether it's to teach, help, give, etc it is our path and we are shown it when we are no dependent or insecure with anyone.

Insight 7 - Our questions become answered by dreams that materialize into realities and coincidences, which will lead us to the answer to those questions. these answers often come from people for we are the ones that need to help each other. We're not suppose to do this by ourselves, but not connected to anyone.

Insight 8 - In all relationships, especially romantic relationships, we need to not connect ourselves to that person. We are partners in the same world, but our paths might not be the same, just because we are at the same point at this moment. People get pulled doff their path by not re4recognizing they are connecting themselves to people. The goal is to uplift each person in your group with as much positive energy that you can muster, so that they are performing art their peak. Because this is a assumed practice, everyone would be doing it to everyone else.

Insight 9 - Once you realize your path, you are able to connect yourself to the energy itself and there is a gap between the two planes, and our bodies become the souls which we are. In this way, death and life become one and we are realized into an infinite whole.
