90s Nickelodeon Shows Now on TeenNick

Stephanie Armstrong

Thanks to persistent demands made on social-media sites, popular '90s Nickelodeon shows have returned to the network ever since July 25, 2011. Twentysomethings are rejoicing and flocking to TeenNick to check out the new weeknight block of programming from midnight to 2 a.m.

'90s Nickelodeon Show Schedule

TeenNick is currently showing four '90s Nick shows during their The '90s Are All That block. The current schedule includes "All That" at midnight, "Kenan and Kel" at 12:30 a.m., "Clarissa Explains it All" at 1 a.m. and "Doug" at 1:30 a.m. All show times for this block are Eastern Standard Time (EST). You can also watch full episodes of these shows on The '90s Are All That Facebook page if you can't stay up that late. Fans have been tweeting that they enjoy falling asleep to these Nickelodeon classics.

Viewers Vote for Next Lineup

This fall, viewers will be able to vote and influence the next on-air schedule of TeenNick's retro block of shows. Fans have already expressed interested in seeing shows like "Rugrats," "Hey Dude," "Legends of the Hidden Temple," and "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" hit the air. There are so many great shows to choose from. Some of my personal '90s Nickelodeon show favorites are "The Secret World of Alex Mack," "Pete and Pete" and "Salute Your Shorts."

Record Breaking Ratings

Since the network debuted The '90s Are All That block, TeenNick's ratings have significantly increased. The network is definitely banking on nostalgia and brought in 555,000 viewers when the block launched. The time slot's ratings have been boosted by over 114% more than last year. According to Nielsen Media Research, The '90s Are All That helped the network reach its highest level of late night viewers ever.

Join in on Twitter

TeenNick has been doing a good job at promoting their lineup on Twitter and even became a trending topic. They have seamlessly integrated their #90sAreAllThat hashtag near their logo so that fans can join in on the conversation while watching their favorite 90s shows. Social media has played a big part in getting these favorites back on the air so it is no wonder that TeenNick is trying to keep that conversation going on the web.
