9/11: Was the Attack on the Pentagon Staged by the US Government?

Given the current level of information about the 9/11 attack on the pentagon, I am forced to assume the government was directly involved in committing these monstrous acts. Between the lack of information that would prove events did occur as we, the American populace, have been led to believe, and the evidence that suggests that these events unfolded differently from what the administration had flooded the media with, there is no other conclusion I could have reached.

First: The impact on the pentagon left a hole in the outer wall that was about one story high. No wing shear marks, no debris visible, no scarring of the pentagon's lawn, no wreckage on the nearby highway, just a one story tall near-circular hole. A 757 could not have possibly impacted the pentagon in such a way as to have left no debris outside the building without leaving large slashes in the building where the wings pushed into the structure. A 757 could not have impacted that building and fit cleanly through a one story hole, even if the wings and tail had been shorn off previously. Even if it did, the cable spools and windows not 20 feet from the impact point would not have been undamaged, which is a deviation from what was actually recorded. The object that struck the pentagon penetrated several rings, rings which are walled with reinforced concrete. The same concrete that can stop a Mack truck dead, fully loaded and at top speed, with minimal damage. An entire building constructed in this fashion would be very hard to penetrate so deeply with an aircraft. Further, pictures taken from inside the open spaces between the rings of the pentagon also show no wreckage. No wreckage outside, no wreckage inside.

Second: The first descriptions released involving the incident, and more than a few eye-witness accounts, described the actual object that struck the pentagon as a missile or missile-like, or described a fighter jet flying very low to the ground in the pentagon's direction mere moments before the impact. Another eye-witness account, printed in the Washington Post, described an aircraft much smaller that a 757. The description was of what seemed to be a small commuter jet, large enough to carry only 8 to 12 people. Still another eye-witness account described the smell of explosives. Not jet fuel, explosives. An air traffic controller at Dulles International described the speed and maneuverability of the aircraft they tracked on radar being reminiscent of a military aircraft, and further stated that every experienced controller in the room felt the same way while watching it.

Third: According to the "official" information released, The 757 was flying at over 500 MPH, at a mere 2 feet off the ground. I know from personal experience (riding in a big rig) that a large object moving fast next to another large object in close proximity will be drawn toward said object. The faster the air is moving between them, the harder the draw. At those kinds of speeds, the aircraft would have to be pulling up significantly to avoid taking a nose dive into the highway long before reaching the pentagon. This kind of thing takes an immense degree of skill and training, and certainly not the kind that a pilot can receive from a basic flying school. Besides which, the terrorist pilot supposedly flying flight 77 flunked out of the flying school he was attending while in the states.

Fourth: Flight 77 disappeared from the radar network a full 45 minutes before striking the pentagon, just as it was turning south. This means that flight 77 would have had to fly all the way across West Virginia at extreme low altitude. As in skimming the ground. That would be an incredible stunt in a fighter jet, let alone in a jumbo jet.

Fifth: Various cameras besides the one at the pentagon recorded the incident, or at least had a view of the aircraft as it came in toward the pentagon. The rooftop camera at the Sheratin National Hotel recorded it, but the tape was confiscated shortly after by the FBI and never released. A gas station just before the highway, open only to Department of Defense personnel, had it's security camera footage confiscated before the owner was even able to see what was on it. This footage, able to show the moment of impact, was never released. Route 27, the highway that runs next to the pentagon, has cameras that would have shown the aircraft as it flew by, set up by the Virginia department of transportation, but here to the footage was never released.

All the government would have to do to ease my mind and make me believe the chain of events as described by this administration is to explain these five things in a reasonable way. Show me the tape of the plane as it crossed route 27. Tell me how the aircraft could have embedded itself in such a small hole with so little fire damage, rather than the massive conflagration caused by the jet fuel in the Twin Towers. Maybe then I'll believe, but I'd likely want the tape examined by foreign third parties first to see if it was doctored.
