Technology- the skills and knowledge used by people to make tools and do work.
Artisan- Person skilled in a craft.
Myth- a traditional story that explains natural events.
Civilization- highly organized society marked by advanced knowledge and trade, governmetn, arts, science, and often written language.
Nomad- Member of a group of people with no fixed home, who travel constantly to find food and water.
Economy- System by which goods and services are prodiced and disturbed to meet people's needs.
Antropologist- Scientist who study physical and cultural charactersitics of humans and their ancisters.
Prehistory- time before written history.
Radiocarbon dating- modern scientific method for telling the age of once living material by measuring the amount of rasioactive carbon remaining in it.
Archaelogist- scientist who studies earlier peoples and culture.
Artifact- a historic object made or used by humans,such as a tool or pottery.
Cultural Defusion- The exchange of goods, ideas, and customs among different cultures.
Culture- The way of life of a given people at a given time, including language, behavior, and beliefs.
