Radiocarbon dating- modern scientific method for telling the age of once living material by measuring the amount of rasioactive carbon remaining in it.
Archaelogist- scientist who studies earlier peoples and culture.
Artifact- a historic object made or used by humans,such as a tool or pottery.
Cultural Defusion- The exchange of goods, ideas, and customs among different cultures.
Culture- The way of life of a given people at a given time, including language, behavior, and beliefs.
