A Bachelorette Weekend Party in Santa Barbara
This Beautiful Beach City Has All the Makings for a Great Weekend
Santa Barbara is a beautiful place for a weekend extravaganza, especially due to the wide range of activities the coastal riviera offers. The beach city is also conveniently located an hour and a half north of LAX, with coastal trains from San Francisco and San Diego making stops downtown. A beautiful fusion of coastal vibe with metropolitan flare, Santa Barbara is undoubtedly the perfect place to spend an amazing Bachelorette weekend.
Saturday morning, pack a picnic and head towards the hills on Highway 154. After about twenty minutes you will arrive in San Ynez Valley. San Ynez is home to some of Southern California's finest wineries, and most of them are open for tastings and tours. As a group, consider some of the bride's favorite varietals and choose about three destination vineyards. Don't forget to pace yourself. A group picnic mid-afternoon is always fun and a great way to relax and enjoy the pleasant surroundings.
Santa Barbara nightlife has options. If a bachelorette party would not seem right without shot glasses, outrageous paraphernalia, and dancing--there is plenty of that; it's hard to miss where to find it on State Street. As an alternative to the characteristically kitsch erotica theme, many groups opt for some of Santa Barbara's classier or laid back venues like Blue Agave or Tre Lune Restaurant.
Sunday calls for some serious R & R either on the beach or if your feeling glamorous at one of Santa Barbara's exclusive spas. Both Bacara Spa and Ojai Spa offer day passes for about thirty dollars each. Your group can lounge poolside and enjoy spa amenities with an inclusive fresh fruit lunch. If this is out of your league, take the party down to the beach and enjoy a day at any one of Santa Barbara's beautiful beaches.
No matter what or where you decide on for your group, in Santa Barbara there is really no going wrong. It's a beautiful setting to create some good memories with your friends, and a weekend like this will be remembered a lifetime.
