A Beautiful Sunrise
So early this morning
I watched the sunrise
Thought I wouldn't see it
It was a beautiful surprise
I watched the sunrise

The sky like a painting
The colors so intense
Can't believe I'm seeing it
Indeed at no expense
Purple, red and orange
Beginning to glow
I really have to say
I am enjoying the show
The sun is rising high
High above the tree
So glad I took the time
To stop today and see
And just like that
It is already done
Almost as fast
As it had begun
The only problem is
I don't know when
I will get the chance
To see it again

Post a CommentThe only time I see a sunrise is if I'm pulling an all nighter, and I do love to watch as the world wakes up, it's wonderful that we get a new day every 24 hours
