A Bedtime Prayer
A bed time prayer
Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the lord my soul to keep....
If I should die before I wake I pray the lord my soul to take.
Wake me in the morning with coffee and kisses; this is all my heart wishes...
As good man to keep me strong and a safe home is where I belong.
Forgive me for all I have done wrong, If I should die before I wake I pray my
Child does not make the same mistake.
