A Biography of Jennifer Love Hewitt

Jennifer Love Hewitt was born on Febuary 21,1979 in Waco,texas. Her mother is Patricia Mae, a speech pathologist, and father Herbert Daniel Hewitt who is a medical technician. Hewitt ended up moving to Nolanville,Texas after the divorce of her parents. She and her older brother Todd Hewitt lived with their mother. Growing up Jennifer Love Hewitt showed great interest in music. At the age of three she sang "The Greatest Love of All" at a livestock show. By the age of 5 Jennifer Love Hewitt had aquired tap dancing and ballet as a part of her portfolio. When she turned ten she and her mother moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue her career in singing and acting.

Acting Career

After their move to Los Angeles Hewitt appeared in more then 20 television commercials before finally getting her big break as a child actor in the hit Disney Channel show Kids Incorporated which lasted from 1989-1991. As her career progressed she had many roles in a variety of different t.v. shows such as Shaky Ground, The Byrds of Paradise ,Mckenna, and finally the show that brought her to stardom Party of Five where she played the role of Sarah Reeves which aired from 1995-1999. And since 2005 she has starred in the television show Ghost Whisperer.

She also was recognized as a movie star when she starred as the lead role in the horror film I Know What You Did Last Summer which made over 125 million worldwide. She also appeared in movies such as Can't Hardly Wait, Heartbreakers, and The Audrey Hepburn Story.

Music Career

Jennifer Love Hewitt became a pop star in Japan at the age of 12 with her first album Love Songs. In 1995 she signed with Atlantic Records where she released her second album Let's Go Bang. In 1996 she recorded a follow up with her first single being No Ordinary Love which failed and Atlantic Records e dropped Jennifer Love Hewitt, who would not be seen in the music scene for three years. 1999 she recorded the single How Do I Deal for the I Still Know What You Did Last Summer soundtrack. The single reached #59 on the top 100. In 2002 Jive Records signed Hewitt and that is where she recorded her fourth album, where her first single BareNaked became a smash hit charting at #24 on the top 100. The last Jennifer Love Hewitt was seen in the music scene was in 2003, since then she hasn't done much of anything in the music industry.

Personal Life

Jennifer Love Hewitt has dated singer John Mayer, Carson Daly, Actor Kip Pardue, writer Chris Benson, singer Rich Cronin, actor Joey Lawrence, kayaker Brad Ludden, actor Will Friedle and the singer Enrique Iglesias. As of March 2009 Jamie Kennedy confirmed on the Ryan seacrest show that he and Hewitt were dating.
