The Scene
Imagine this. Your boss enters his office on 1st April. To his surprise, right in the middle of the office is his large table, which has been converted into a table-tennis table. A table-tennis net stands right in the middle of the table. There is a bat at each end of the table.
Look at his reaction. Make sure you have your digital camera ready to capture the moment of the day. At the same moment, everyone shouts, "Happy April Fool's Day, Boss!" in unison.
How to carry out the Boss April Fool's Day Prank
The items to prepare for this Boss April Fool's Day prank are a table-tennis net, two table-tennis bats and a ping pong ball. These items can be purchased from any regular sports shop and are not expensive.
On the eve of April Fool's Day, get into your boss' office and clear his office table. Get your colleagues to help you shift the table to the middle of the room. Secure the net right in the middle of the table. Put a bat at one end of each table. Gently put the ping pong ball on one of the bats, making sure that it doesn't roll off.
The next day, when your boss comes into office, observe his reaction when he sees his newly re-arranged office! Snap a few shots of his bewildered face for remembrance. Then all your colleagues get into your boss office and shout, "Happy April Fool's Day, Boss!" in unison. What about playing a game of table-tennis then?

Post a CommentI got this idea from an article more than 10 years ago. Sun Microsystems employees converted Scott's, the CEO, office into a putting green. But don't try unless you know that your boss has a great sense of humour and can take it.
