While enjoying a leisurely stroll with your favorite canine, be sure to check out the numerous vendor tents and demonstrations on the grounds. Treats will be provided by Sheridan's Frozen Custard.

Of course, in this area, not many community events are complete without the Kansas City Chiefs Mascot, KC Wolf who will make his grand appearance from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.

From 11-12 enter your four-footed friend in the Pet Contest. According to the Raytown Times, categories include the following, "Best Tail Wag, Best Costume, Bark & Howl Contest, Wackiest Dog Trick, Best Kisser, and Peanut Butter Eating Contest".

As an extra bonus, goody bags will be distributed until supplies run out.

So if you've been looking for a little something different to do this weekend, check it out. And if you're extra good, maybe Fido will let you tag along too. Aarf! Aarf!
