Other diet tricks didn't work, Try Power Pops

Looking to lose weight for the summer, well you may wish to try power pops. This is a very interesting product as it gets you to eat candy to lose weight. (I wonder what you family dentist would say about this.) Looking to try losing weight, read Debbie's Aricle about losing 8 pounds in just a few weeks. http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/137947/can_you_lose_weight_with_a_sucker.html

First let me review some of the technical information that power pops provided.

1. They contain an ingredient called Hoodia. Which is a "natural ingredient in weight loss from South Africa that has been used for hundreds of years which suppresses the appetite and works with the receptors to signal satisfaction." (mypowerpops.com)

2. Citrimas, this is a natural ingredient that helps suppresses one's appetite, and it is also know to help burn fat. (mypowerpops.com)

3. An Amino Acid called L-Tyrosine, "Suppresses appetite, helps reduce body fat, works with the receptors to signal satisfaction." (mypowerpops.com)

4. Guarana, this helps reduce fatigue and increases mental alertness. (mypowerpops.com)

5. Vitamin B6 and B12. Helps absorbs fats, reduces water retention, proper digestion, absorption of foods, and metabolism of carbohydrates and fats. (mypowerpops.com)

The idea of the product is, instead of taking food in your mouth you take this healthy sucker and suck on it to boost your energy and surpass your appetite. They come in a variety of flavors which include: Cherry, Green Apple, Mountain Berry, Pina Colada, Cinnamon, Root Beer Float, Pink Lemonade, Butter Pecan, Watermelon. . They say any product that you sell you should believe in the product before you attempt to sell it. Most people need to lose a few pounds. One thing I was disappointed they didn't have on their website was testimonials. Kind of like the guy from Subway.

After going to the companies website, once you become a representative for them, they offer a wide range of "Healthy living products" to choose from to sell. You can sell all of them or pick one to specialize in.

In their ad to get you to sign up for a rep, they say that the weight loss and health product industry is a $60 billion industry just in the United States where by more than 98 million people are overweight. (http://www.power-pops.com/products/default.aspx) This is nothing new, we have been hearing for years that America is overweight. Want to hear more about weight loss in america? Once you start selling for them the idea is to build a left and right side down-line. (Now this is where they lost me). They call this a simple two-team approach and that you can place people that you are recruiting anywhere in your down-line. They offer a chart that tells you how much you need to sell to make each level and how many people under you that you need to achieve certain levels in the chart. They break it is into levels.

1. Retail associate, that must purchase and pay $29.95 for an annual website. This earns them the right to buy whole and earn retail profits.

2. Qualifying Manager must have retail associate status, purchase a $150 fast start package and maintain 50 points of PSV. (For those of you who don't know, PSV is personal sales volume) This earns them the right to earned retail profits, plus 5% of their pay line (what I call your down-line)

3. Manager, same as Qualifying manager but must maintain 100 points of PSV. This will earn you 10% of your pay line.

4. Silver Executive, You must maintain your manager qualification, and then enroll and maintain 2 managers 1 on each side. This must be where they are getting their left and right side and keeping both sides balanced. In additional to everything a manager has to do and earns, they get 25% of commission of their enrollees.

5. Gold Executive, the same as Silver Executive but you maintain 4 silver executives, and your bonus goes up to 50% commission of their enrollees.

6. Platinum Executive, the same as Gold Executive, however you must maintain 4 gold executives, and 4 managers.

MLM (Multi-level marketing) is a basic concept whereby you sell the product and you get others to sell the product and you make a small commission off of what other people you recruited to sell. They seem to really stress getting both sides balanced that is the only way to earn the most commission. To me, if a company doesn't keep their commissions pay simple; they only complicate it in order for them not to have to pay out commission. That is my opinion of why companies do this. For instance, in their breakdown of their down-line structure, why would a Platinum executive have to maintain 4 managers in order to get that pay scale? What if one of their managers moves up to a Qualifying Manager, do they lose their Platinum status? After asking someone is a Manager for them, she explained to me that the answer was yes they would lose their status, thus the company not having to pay out the platinum commission.

The company FUN unlimited offers you an insider's view of the health industry by becoming an associate of theirs. Of course their website shows a fancy house, nice car, rolls of money trying to entice you to join their team.

The ladies I spoke with that sold these power pops seemed to really enjoy what they are doing and the health benefits that go along with the products. That is the whole key to a new business opportunity, if you like what you are doing and believe in the product, then this may be for you.
