A Caged Emotion

Janis I. Monroe
I am inside you
Living within the tissue of your heart
And residing in the glowing plasma of your soul
I am the good in life
The very power all living things should experience
I am love
Can't you hear my cry?
The banging of a tiny steel cup against the cage you put up around me?
Let me out, please?

You can't suppress me for much longer
For I will continue to mature and develop
Until I am able to outgrow this dank cell
Be kind and unlock the steel gate
For I desire not to go against my charming nature and be forceful

I am yearning to be expressed
For my sparks to unite with another's
And create a masterful and intense blaze
I am screaming with sensual passion
And my energy is soaring to inhuman levels
Please don't fear me anymore
I am a joyful emotion

Hello?
Is anyone there?
Please, with all that I'm worth I beg of you
Let me out
