A Changing Life

A Poem of My Life

Kady Birdwhistle

I went to antique store

Bought hour glass

Eyes saw it missed

What the meaning was

Sands drip slowly

Yet so fast I clutch

Pillow on futon couch

Smiling knowing there

Is time still on

Watch dial I love

To place under old socks

So no more hearing of

Tick Tock Tick Tock

But a sigh says

All is well

With world
