A Cheap Guide to a New You!

Lets face it. Every woman wants to feel good about themselves. We live in a world with high standard already and it doesn't help that the media glorifies woman with perfect bodies, even if they are unhealthy in doing so. Not everyone is born with that perfect hour glass figure, or the money that the women on the big screen are blessed with. That is okay though, because no matter what your shape or income, there are a few simple, cheap tricks that you can do to make yourself feel like a million bucks!

The first thing that you can do is give yourself a pedicure. A pedicure can be costly in salon's, so try giving yourself a pedi at home. It will look just as great, and you will feel even better about yourself knowing the money you have saved. First, soak your feet in warm water about 15 minutes. This softens your skin and adds moisture to your cuticles. Plain water will do, but if you have any bath oils or salts laying around in your house, those can be added to your water. After soaking, dry your feet and smooth all over with a pumice stone or a foot file. This will leave the rough edges and calluses on your feet feeling smooth. Then push back the cuticles and apply lotion all over your feet. Seal the deal with a fresh coat of polish and you've got yourself a fresh pedicure! Even if you are wearing shoes that don't show off the fresh pedicure, you will feel better knowing that it is there!

Another business that is making a lot of money off of women that want to make themselves more glamorous is Spa's. We all want to have beautiful skin but not everyone can afford to shed out big bucks for a facial. A simple way to get healthier looking skin is to put a pot of water on the stove. When the water starts to steam, put your face over the pot. Make sure that your face is at a safe distance away so you don't get burnt by the steam. This method will replace the moisture that you have lost in your skin and also open up your pores and make them more susceptible to any cleansers that you plan on putting on after wards.

So now you have a fresh pedicure and healthy skin that glows. What could top this off? Hair, of course! Its obvious that not all women are capable of doing a stylist worthy job at styling their locks. There is a simple solution! Most cities have schools that are training beauticians and hair dressers. These schools offer great service at just a small fraction of the price! You can get a variety of services such as color, cut, up-do's, and while you are at it you can even get waxed. You can check your local phone book or your Internet search engine for beauty schools in your area.

With these tips that I have provided for you, you will feel like a new woman, with you putting a big dent in your wallet!
