A Chess Board Costume

Having fun at Halloween time is very important. You don't want to be left out this year. Get ready to make yourself into a chess board for a costume that will really make others look. For the chess board costume you will need to have several different things. You can find these at a thrift store or a dollar store and make your costume for very little money. You will want to get a large box and cut out a hole in the top of it so that you can put your head through it. In the bottom of the box you will want to make leg holes. On the outside of the box you want to make white and black squares, just like a chess board.

For the rest of your costume you should wear black leggings, socks and shoes. You should also wear long black gloves. Wear a black hat and use makeup sparingly.

When you want to take along some props for your costume, you can carry along some chess pieces in a see through container or a bag. You are bound to make people look when you are wearing this costume.

Make sure that you when you are traveling to wear you are going that you remove the chess board box and set it on the seat beside you. When you get to where you are going you can then put it back on.

Remember when you are out and about for the Halloween fun, make sure that you have a designated driver and that no one drinks and drives. Staying safe should be a priority on this holiday and every other day of the year.

If you decide that you want to have a party for Halloween this year, make sure that you tell everyone that they must come in costume. Have a good camera so that you can get pictures of everyone in their outfits. Have enough food and drink to keep everyone happy. Let them take a bag of candy home with them.
