A Children's Christmas

This year Santa won't get in our home
I just want him to leave me alone!
Security, not Christmas, lights on-
Twelve new guard gnomes on the lawn
No cookies baking, no milk pouring;
In the chimney, a fire's roaring!
"STAY AWAY SANTA!" sign on my door
Nails on the windows; tacs on the floor
No Santa this year, that's my goal--
No more Santa, and NO MORE COAL!!

Little lamb, little lamb, soft and white
Were you there that silent night?
Gazing at, on a night so cold,
Him whose birth and death were foretold
Did you let him pat your head
Near his lowly manger bed?
