A Child's Garden Poem

Sabrina Young
Didn't have gloves, so I used a baseball mitt,
Didn't have a shovel, so I used my hands,
Didn't have a pot, so I dug a tiny pit,
Didn't have fertilizer, so I filled the pit with sand,
Didn't have patience, so I prayed for rain,
Didn't have rain, so I did a little dance,
Didn't have seeds, so I planted a button,
Didn't have sunshine, so I went to bed.
