Mothers and Fathers around the country make preparation
While children are on their best behavior in anticipation
Of what Santa will bring down the chimney to them
Christmas for some is a happy time of food and family
A time of to remember and of good cheer
Of a loving family so near
While Christmas for some is a hungry and lonely occasion
A time of anxiety uncertainty and of lost hope A time to spend
alone with out friends
The best Christmas time is when a stranger share
a meal with a stranger who is hungry and lonely
This sharing erases the anxiety and uncertainty of one stranger
A shared meal at Christmas not only bring nourishment
But brings out the true meaning of Christmas
A time to love and care for others
This is what makes Christmas a merry
time of the year.
