The college offers many options. They have community education classes like yoga and art. They offer certificate programs to earn a certificate for the working world. They offer associate degree programs and transfer programs to four year schools. Both my mother and sister participated in the early childhood education program and then transferred to a four year school to finish their degrees. Delaware County Community College even has guaranteed transfer programs. You can see a complete list of programs here: http://www.dccc.edu/prospective/programs.html
The college is very reasonable if you live in a sponsoring school district. You would pay $90 per credit hour, so if you were taking a three credit class you would pay $270 for the class. There are also some small fees. To find out about tuition information, you can view that here: http://www.dccc.edu/tuition/
The school is dedicated to helping you get financial aid. They can help you apply for the FAFSA and provide information about grants and loans. They have a whole financial aid website setup to help you here: http://www.dccc.edu/finaid/
Delaware County Community College is constantly growing and expanding. They continue to add more and more programs. They are even constructing a beautiful new science and math building on there Main Campus. The campus is very nice with its brick courtyard, ample free parking, lush green lawns and a small pond with ducks. The buildings are modern and nice.
