A Consicous Conversation

Look Out There

RANDY SHARPE
"Look out there! What do you see?"

"I see men of all sizes and shapes, race, colors and
creeds".

"Look out there! What do you see?"

"I see men imprisoned by walls and by their minds."

"Look out there! What do you see?"

"I see men incarcerated for crimes illegal or immoral.
Some of which I may have committed myself."

"So do not judge. For you all do the same things and
have fallen short!"

"Look out there! What do you see?"

"I see men who should be quick to talk with each other
instead of about each other!"

"Look out there! What do you see?"

" I see men who laugh and play games. Who want to
be loved and missed when they're not around."

"Look out there! What do you see?"

"I see men who struggle with inner and outer demons,
that sometimes overcomes their righteousness!"

"Look out there! What do you see"?

" I see men who have fears and courage, men who
sometimes cry."

"Look out there! What do you see?"

"I see men who are alive! Put together with divine and
wonderful complication."

"Look out there! What do you see?"

"I see men with strong minds, hearts, spirits, souls
and blood of red."

"Look out there! What do you see?"

"I see my brothers through the creator."

"Look out there! What do you see?"

"See men of whom GOD loves."

"Now!....Take a good look out there! What do you see?"

"I see......"

"I see......"

"I see......"

"ME!"

I believe this is the first piece I have encountered here on AC in which a male writer reaches out to his fellow man in such an incredibly powerful and thought-provoking way. This is a work of honesty, humility and strength. Great job!
