This is a customer review of Wahooz Family Fun Zone in the city of Meridian, Idaho. The city of Meridian lies five miles West of Boise, and the Wahooz Family Fun Zone is located right next door to Roaring Springs Waterpark. The Wahooz Family Fun Zone was previously known as Boondocks, however the facility was recently purchased by Roaring Springs Waterpark and the name was subsequently changed.

Getting to Wahooz Family Fun Zone is quite simple. Whether heading East or West on Interstate 84, take the Meridian Exit 44. Wahooz is clearly visible from the Interstate. The street address is 1385 South Blue Marlin Road.

The first thing I noticed when entering the Wahooz Family Fun Zone is the high level of cleanliness inside the facility. I was considering celebrating my son's birthday at Wahooz, but since his birthday falls right in the middle of flu season, we often avoid these types of facilities. However, I found Wahooz to be very clean, inside and out. The restrooms were spotless, as was the dining area. While inside the facility, I even noticed employees apparently sanitizing railings inside the dining area. In truth, it was the fact that the facility was so clean that led me to decide to go ahead bring my son back on his birthday. Although I was also impressed with the attractions available at Wahooz, if it hadn't been as clean as it was, I would not have come back.

Today we surprised our son on his birthday with a trip to Wahooz Family Fun Zone. Again, the facility was spotless. Additionally, the employees, although all very young, were extremely helpful and pleasant. We purchased unlimited passes for each member of our family. The unlimited passes were a fairly good value, in my opinion. Not only did the passes include unlimited miniature golf, Laser Tag, and go karts, but they also included 20 free tokens for each person over 60 inches tall, and 10 tokens for those in our group who were under 60 inches tall.

Additionally, the unlimited passes included unlimited play time in the Kiddie Cove. The Kiddie Cove at Wahooz is by far the best play structure we have ever found in these types of facilities. Not only is it a lot of fun for the kids, but it also is designed in such a way that parents can see their children at all times, no matter where they are in the structure. This, coupled with the fact that children over 48 inches tall are not allowed to play in the structure, makes it a very safe play structure for small kids. We loved it.

The Go Karts at Wahooz appear to be sturdy, well maintained vehicles. The tracks were also well maintained, and well staffed with employees who were really paying attention to all that was going on all over the track. There were two Go Kart tracks. One, a slick track, is designed for drivers over 60 inches tall. The other is designed for those who are at least 48 inches tall, but not over 60 inches tall. Children who are 40 inches or taller may ride as a passenger on the slick track.

The Laser Tag facility at Wahooz is really nice. It is a large, multi-leveled room, filled with barriers to hide behind while seeking out your opponents. The room was well designed for both safety and fun, and also very clean. Children must be at least 44 inches tall to play Laser Tag at Wahooz.

Overall, we really enjoyed our visit to Wahooz and will definitely be returning. We found it to be a clean, safe, and fun facility. We also found it to be a good value.
