Rushing to clean.
It seems so mean.
But to leave a mess,
it is just not the best.
So we sort and clean, dust and wipe.
Our kids do fuss and cripe.
A day at the beach, all so much hype.
Hurry, we must, no time to type.
A day at the beach is so much fun.
When we know the work at home has all been done.
We'll all walk in the sand, play in the sun...
Later we'll have a glass of tea and a honey bun.
A day at the beach,
It'll be so much fun, relaxation just within reach.
Maybe we'll stay all night. It'll be so much fun at the beach.
No computer, tv or newspaper within reach.
We'll sit back and relax just a bit.
Maybe a picnic, never a fit.
A day at the beach it'll be a hit.
A day to relax just a bit.
