Insider Information
I've decided to combine two days for every article, at least during the first week. Although a number of articles will be written, not much money will come in until the articles are reviewed. My goal is not to turn this into a blog, but to give you an average of work per day versus monetary value per day.
Wednesday's Stats
Articles Written and Submitted: Two (2) Written; Two (2) Submitted
In addition to my DITL (Day in the Life) article, I have written 2 articles today, but only one was submitted. By the time I finished it I got sidetracked and never submitted it so I will do that tomorrow morning. Although yesterday was a great day for my seasonal pieces (maybe I was in a festive mood), I have moved on to other topics. I wrote a little about education/career, and some about budgeting. I also started a piece about vehicles, which stemmed from a trip in a rental van. After I put the kids to bed, I updated my DITL. That makes three, which took a total time of approximately one hour, give or take, but I'm not counting the DITL for today.

It's kind of hard to write and write and not see your results, but it is to be expected. From what I have read, people average different rates per offer. My offers have been between four and five dollars, but I would like to work on ways to get that up just a bit. I'm not asking for $10 per article, but I wouldn't mind averaging five to six for my efforts.

Articles Written and Submitted: One (1) Written; Two (2) Submitted
Once again, I got my DITL article updated and today I will submit it. In addition, I wrote one article today; and it was a bit of a fluff piece. Today was a bit disappointing and I hope to make up for my losses these past few days over the weekend, I've just been extremely busy. When do you let your freelance take precedent over your daily duties?

Nothing was approved today. I expect to get something approved tomorrow, if past patterns hold true.
