In the morning I joined worship at a local Christian church, which my friend belongs to. I had no plans to venture into the party wielding hippie-like groups that held homage at pride and musical carried hopes of pop art. The pastor leading the sermon was very gracious at directing all members of their center to pray for those involved in Pride week. The revelation approach to accept the differences and apply tolerance is a well recognized excitement throughout the entire bay.
Men dressed just like the famous YMCA team from the 1970's huddled for photos along side of city blocks full of pot smoking free minded, modern medical patience observers. Being bright and colorful in the dress-up costume day offered more technology to the citizen's nearby than the historical convient rainbow flags. Both were located on every intersection and visible from miles away. Therefore, no confusion or maps were needed by fair attendees. The information booth, I stopped by provided dis-information in a know-nothing attitude. The joyous and intoxicated presence of everyone there was a humble way to settle the fighting discordance of legal battles that are in the public's eye within this century.
As a parade began the morning, an entire festival culminated the blocks around the city hall and surrounding buildings. Several hundred vendors were on-site to sell, give-away or promote some materials targeting the audience. I received some medical testing, in a litigate method. The health department was set-up for free Hep B and A shots for all adults. I took mine along with a few other checks. I am in great shape and healthy as ever. Something for everyone to eat, wear, test, purchase or participate in kept the natives in calm control.
