To set the atmosphere for your spa, the first thing that needs to be done is to shut off all phones. Then put on some relaxing music for you and your guests. Set up a few scented candles, in the areas that you will be using for spa treatments. These spa areas could be set up in the kitchen or dining room on a table.
If you are doing this with a few friends, you might want to tell them to bring a comfy robe and slippers, and maybe a nice fluffy towel. There are a few things you might want to have on hand. Of coarse you will want the products that you will be using for the treatments. You may want to supply some headbands, disposable facial cloths or cotton pads. A pitcher of lemon water and maybe a fruit or vegetable tray would be nice.
You must decide on what treatments are to be offered that day. If you do have 3 or 4 friends participating in this spa day, you could set it up where one person could be giving another a facial, while another person is soaking their tootsies. Then after 20 or 30 minutes, each person can change to another treatment.
Below are some spa recipes you might want to try. These treatments can be made ahead of time and kept fresh in the refrigerator. You may want to make a list of your recipes, just incase someone may be allergic to something or someone may like the recipe to take home with them.
