2. The second step towards a reliable anti-cancer diet is to avoid all types of processed food. Processed foods include cookies, cakes, white bread etc. Studies and research prove the fact that simple carbohydrates contribute to the development of colon cancer. moreover, the risk of cancer increases when carbohydrates are associated with a lethargic lifestyle.

3. Refined oil, avoid it. Refined vegetable oils are nothing more than fats. As they claim to provide nutritional value, they actually don't. On the contrary, they increase the risks of cancer.

4. Salads are to be made the main dish. To be exact, vegetables, fruits and beans etc should be the main constituents of your anti-cancer diet. Cabbages and the broccoli vegetables are the most effective anti-cancer remedies ever. They contain high amounts of photochemical which in turn release anti-oxidants that fight cancer.

5. Fresh fruit; another important aspect towards the prevention of cancer. You should try to eat at least 5 pieces of fruit every day.

6. Exercise, another key element. A person is supposed to have at least 3 hours of healthy exercise in a week. Starting off with a morning walk could be very beneficial.
