A Dilemma

Virginia Gaces
They ran helter skelter in the brown plain

I feel the car lurch to the left and then,

The strain it caused could not be thus contained

'til I succumb and turned somewhat insane.

Is my life worth the souls of these fauna?

It seems sad that I should have this karma.

I would have basked in a splendid dacha,

Spend time to smell the rose and each dahlia.

Call me a dumb, and an asinine fool.

But, I would rather take the chance to pull,

These awesome creatures from a gruesome spool.

Than suffer sleepless nights for some misrule.
