A Dining Guide for Lancaster, Ohio - Part 2

Lancaster, Ohio offers so many fantastic dining options that it is easy to become overwhelmed by your choices. If you are from out of town, and you are seeking a great restaurant, you basically can't go wrong anywhere in Lancaster, Ohio. Of course, like every other city, Lancaster has its fair share of fast food restaurants, but there is so much more to the city of Lancaster. People here take their meals quite seriously. An inferior restaurant simply will not survive in this city. Lancaster has that small town, friendly vibe about it. People talk to each other and word of mouth travels fast among the upwards of twenty thousand residents, or maybe more.

If you like Chinese food, Lancaster is home to the China Buffet on Memorial Drive. China Buffet is seriously the best Chinese cuisine around, and without a doubt the finest Chinese restaurant south of Columbus, Ohio. The restaurant is quite large, the staff is helpful, although they speak a limited amount of English. The food... Wow, its unbelievably great! Two adults can dine for about twenty dollars. China Buffet is seriously one of my favorite restaurants in Lancaster, Ohio. China Buffet is a fantastic dining option that you will enjoy on a budget, or not.

A few doors down from China Buffet you will find the local hot spots Buffalo Wild Wings and across the parking lot is Rooster's. Locals flock to both of these wing restaurants on game nights and basically every night. Roosters is definitely the better place for wings. You will enjoy the atmosphere, drinks and tasty wings. I would recommend Roosters over Buffalo Wild Wings any day. It is a superior restaurant.

Lancaster also offers a variety of local pizza shops. It is hard to chose a local favorite out of these terrific pizzeria's. If I had to recommend one of the pizza places for tourists I would direct you to Fat Cat's Pizza, with several locations and affordable, delicious and unique pizzas.

If you are looking for something quick that is not fast food, Lancaster has a Tim Horton's that is open twenty four hours. You will find an assortment of soups, sandwiches and wraps at Tim Horton's as well as fresh donuts, pastries and Tim Bits. Coffee is always twenty minute fresh at Tim Horton's. I would recommend the egg salad sandwiches and an ice cappuccino as well as any donut!
