A Dining Guide for Logan, Ohio

In Logan, Ohio you will be faced with several choices concerning your dining options. The Hocking Hills region in South Eastern Ohio features something for every taste bud, appetite and budget. It can however be difficult to decide where you should eat dinner. In this dining guide for the Logan, Ohio and Hocking Hills region I will focus on the hidden gems that locals and tourists alike flock to, to satisfy their rumbling stomachs.

My favorite restaurants in Logan include Lori's Place and The spotted Owl cafe. Lori's is located on Hocking Drive at State Route 328 just outside of Logan's city limits. With easy access from US Highway 33, Lori's is seriously one of the most fantastic restaurants that the region has to offer.
The prices at Lori's are affordable, and the food is delicious. I love the friendly and warm atmosphere at Lori's Place. Among the treasures of the menu you can enjoy steak, chicken, seafood, sandwiches and salads. Also breakfast is available all day long. If you are fortunate enough to catch the Taco Pinwheels as a daily special, you simply must try them, they are delicious!

The Spotted Owl Cafe is located in downtown Logan, Ohio next door to Logan Art on Main. The Spotted Owl is gorgeously decorated, and offers a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. You will enjoy the Frost Top root beer on tap, as well as the fantastic menu featuring tacos, hummus, sandwiches and salads. Not to mention the jumbo hot dogs that are really great. The Spotted Owl offers breakfast also and desserts. The best part about the Spotted Owl Cafe in Logan, Ohio is definitely the affordable prices, nothing on the menu is priced over eight dollars. The service is exceptional also. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area who is looking to eat well on a budget. The Spotted Owl Cafe sure beats McDonald's!

Locals also love Bush's Family Restaurant on East Front Street in Logan, Ohio. Bush's is owned by local resident Lee Howdyshell, who keeps the place family oriented. Locals meet up at Bush's to enjoy coffee and pie, catch up with each other and sometimes enjoy some fantastic broasted chicken! Bush's Family Restaurant is open daily, and offers a great selection of daily specials, home made pies and fantastic chicken! This is a home town restaurant, that is comfortable and inviting. You will feel like family at Bush's Family Restaurant.

You can't go wrong with any of these three hidden gems in Hocking County! The next time you find yourself passing through Logan, Ohio stop by and enjoy a great meal!

I occassionally go through Logan. Last time I went to Arby's, so I'll give one of these places a try next time. Thanks!
