A Dog You Love

When starting this story or information , I almost want to start it "Once a upon a time , it's not really a fairy tale of such . I Have had animals of all kinds it seems from way back when I was a young child . It seems like I can remember my mom telling me about being with this dog or that one even when I was only a young girl . I just had such a great understanding and compassion for this dog or that one . I have had small dogs , big dogs but all in all that were and have been a real pal . I have seen some folks allow their pets to eat from their plates and even the table and still remember the story of "Old yeller", that dog made you wanna cry , laugh and just be happy kinda thing , he was wild , but kind , sweet but, rough , stubborn , but protective , obedient and not at times, troubled but good , just kinda pet most folks would love to have especially the protective and obedient part.. He was there when you needed him in good times and bad , helped work and loved to play great the little kids and not so bad with big folk either and just wanted to hang around when there was nothing to do so he would sleep the day away . All in all a good dog to have around . I as person have that responsibility of taking care of that dog , bathing him /her , feeding him / her / taking her /him out when needed and most of all those shots and making they them all and the flea meds along with worm meds . We must as individuals take of our pets so many disease going around now and none of them are ones you or I should want our beloved animals to wand up with whether it be a dog or cat , bird , or others we must make sure that they are well cared for and they in return Will take care of us too when we need them to . They are so innocent and need us to teach them to do tricks , to lay down , roll over and I even seen some go through hoops , fetch a ball and even bring it back , and do dances too , very talented dogs I have seen , they jump , they chase , they run , they play , they love us unconditionally , they don't care , if we are short , or tall , fat or skinny , or black or white , Americans or not they love us protects , care for us and love us and they want love and care in return . I have seen on t.v. where people have abused these innocent animals , they set them on fire , break their leg (s) leave them without food or water for hours and days at a time and to top it all off chained up without no excuse at all . They are left to endure the heat or cold weather which ever the case might be that can't leave their station or area , and there are those that are left without a home , They roam the street looking and maybe hoping their master(s) will return to get them soon , but that never happens they go days and days without a home , food or shelter , some of them wand up skinny , with mange and there's two different kinds of that and I found that out the hard way one just for the animal as such and one the animal and an individual can get too and it's very itchy, probably as bad as athletes feet or worse . These animals , dogs , cats , puppies need our love that's true but they need attention too . If we as adults are gonna take one little puppy home with us then we need to take a stand and or the responsibilities too that go with the food , baths and the good home those shots help protect them not us cause we can't get "parvo" but those fleas and or worms can be bad for our little children as well as us and the animal(s) too .I have seen animals to live to be about "100" of course that 's multiplying with the number '9" of course I am glad my numbers don't work that way ha ha , would be way older than I older am . I know I am no perfect person when comes to animals but I try to make sure him / her which ever the case might be is taken care of before leaving the home for a few hours. I have had some wonderful dogs that I have cared for and helped out in their life's and have been good to us too , and I have returned home only to find out or discover someone come across my fence for one reason or other to steal something from my yard and my dog was only trying to protect his home and his territory and got hurt badly at that ended up with his little mouth busted and later dying of course then another dog of mine died after some one throw out "ANT-FREEZE " NOT knowing didn't care or , wasn't thinking or all of it and my dog drank this dreaded bad stuff cause he was thirsty of course and he died a horrible death too a dog will suffer long and bad before dying with the "anti-freeze, Lately though just recently a puppy I had and only for a month or two and then person that winded up with this puppy couldn't afford the vet bill for shots and such and didn't pay for anymore shots than what she had and was only "6" months old , and even though there hadn't been any stray dogs in the yard lately they thought they were OK or covered and or it didn't matter so no more care for animals cause their budget wouldn't allow them to take her to be seen and this 'A PART " disease I have been told it's really bad this year and I just can't stress enough of how important it is to have your animals seen today it's not that bad to not go out to eat once or twice for the love of the dog ,cat ...IT Matters,,Your dogs life is literally in our hands.Let's all us do our parts as citizens to take of them and help them to live a good long and healthy life and make it or keep it and them happy and or as much of a normal tail wagging life as we possibly can and know how to take of them .. read books talk to folks that's had other dogs or cats , we all learn from our mistakes , or at least we should So let's all of us help our dogs and cats ..Together we can make a huge difference .Old age should be the only thing other than maybe arthritis , or Alzheimer to put our dogs to sleep and the arthritis cause it cripples cause of their age. Shelters should only be for a dog whom has no hope, whom is just within minutes of dying from maybe cancer , cause yeah I know or believe that a cat can get cancer , a dog can probably too they are almost as human as us . We I am old I hope that have treated a dog or cat good , taken care of him or her , given them the best care that I could and not abandon or abused that animal , after all God did put them here and lots of us after we are gone away died and all that animal could be handed down or over to another family member to continue with now that animal would have had lived a long life . So whether the dogs name is Fido or rover , or whatever they need care . So join me and together we can help stop senseless animal abuse and save our animals by starting it now right now and right here in our homes . One day , One dog or cat at a time just to let them know we care and caring should start in the home and again let's all do our part .
