A Embarrasing Valentines Day

Valentines Day

An Embarrassing Valentines Day.

On February 14th, it is one of many woman's favorite holidays. We enjoy this holiday because we get to see how much our boyfriend, girlfriends, or husbands love us and have learned about us. This is basically the time for men to shine and show their most romantic and creative ideas. What women want the most is not a box of chocolate even as tasty as it is. It's not a three thousand dollar ring either. What women want the most on this day is to see their man take the time and thought into doing something special. Like maybe a candle light dinner and a nice bubble bath and roses.

The candle light dinner is even better if the man cooks the dinner his self instead of going out and buying pizza. Like I have said Valentines Day is a special day to show love and how much you care for your partner. I can remember the worst Valentines Day ever. It is more embarrassing than anything really. I was in 7th grade I believe. This is the day that I got embarrassed because I wasn't doing a Valentines Day gift for some boy in school. I was going to give a Valentines gift to the most beautiful girl in school.

I did not know if she was straight, bisexual, or a lesbian but I did know I liked her and had to at least try. To try to impress her I had ordered flowers to be delivered to her at school during lunch. We had lunch at the same time, this way I could at least get to see her reaction. I also attached her favorite love quote to the flower vase asking her to be mine. Lunch time rolled around and the excitement and nervousness filled me. I thought I had a great plan how ever I didn't think about other people trying to ask her out either. For example this guy who played football who decided to sing her a love song during lunch. She was impressed with that, and I on the other hand was still waiting on the flowers to arrive. They did just as he finished singing. Everyone was saying awe as they thought he had sent them. Then she turned to me and said as loud as possible called me out by my name and then said "sorry I am not a lesbian." I really wanted to just hide my face for weeks after that.
