A Falling Leaf

kalikajira
Silver flies the leaf
Upon the soaring breeze.
Downward falls the crimson flower
As it blossoms from its sleep.

Thunder crashes as they meet
Then clash and fly apart.
Frost flies thick throughout the air,
As anger lights the blossom's heart.

Upward they fly,
And downward they fall.
The flower cries out,
And others answer the call.

Surrounded with red
The leaf twists and turns;
With every clash
Petals fall and burn.

His enemies vanquished,
The dragon leaves with a roar.
He's a leaf on the breeze,
Watch how he soars.

I grew up without a tv, which left me to entertain myself and find entertainment in books and writing, and later video games. Then my brother told me about AC and I started actually doing something with that...  View profile

I love the imagery in this poem. It evokes deep and ystical feelings. Beautiful choice of words used! (Yeah, I read this on kalikajira's page, but I'm actually someone else who would like to remain anonymous.)
