A father is someone,
just like you,
who is good,
and strong;
someone to rely on,
and keep you safe,
all along.

A father is someone,
just like you,
who is kind,
and generous;
a pleasure to be with,
who gives you hope,
when things grow tedious.

A father is someone,
just like you,
who has respect,
from all his children;
and admiration,
for his continuing love,
and undying devotion.

A father is someone,
just like you,
who we adore,
so much because;
you've made us better,
for who we are,
and for who, we will become.

A father is someone,
just like you,
we'd like to thank,
in so many ways;
and show our appreciation,
on this,
your special day.
