Thanksgiving is the time of year,
when Americans gather together with those who are dear,
to celebrate the country's past,
and stuff one's face with food that is vast.
The turkey goes gobble-gobble, but Americans
go wobble wobble,
as we stuff our face with traditional
fare, without the guilt or wanting of care.
We eat sweet potatoes, and desserts galore,
then sit in a chair to watch football or snore.
The next day we eat more turkey and sigh.
Hey, who ate the last of the pie?
