A Few of My Favorite AC Commentors

Pat Bartels
I haven't been a part of Associated Content for long, but I really enjoy writing and seeing the comments and encouragement that I get from all who stop by to read what I have written. I think the comments section of our article pages are one of the most important aspects of AC. I don't read and leave as many comments as I should. Especially lately since I am visiting with my granddaughter who is quite active. She has been keeping me very busy.

The first person who stopped by to give me encouragement was Abbey Greenhill. She also highlighted me in her writer's showcase a few weeks after I had been writing which was quite a boost for me and I really appreciate all of her encourgament.

Another AC writer I really appreciate is Morag Mortimer Smythe. I love his pictures, poetry and his extremely funny wit. He always brings a smile to my face. I love his comments and I know that others also enjoy his humor.

One person who faithfully makes comments and is very interesed in others is Michele Starkey. She is always positive. I think she was a little grossed out about my article on Rosie the Tarantula. I can't say that I blame her. I too am a bit put off by insects and Rosie is a very large insect. Still she was able to add a Cheers at the end of her comment.

One of my most recent acquaintences is Sheila Chase. She has been very complimentary and I apperciate her mention in her article Associated Content Articles: an Eclectic Mix. It's always nice when someone mentions you. I'm hoping that one of these days Sheila will put a picture in her profile. I think the pictures help to make us feel like we know one another.

I thoroughly enjoy all the comments and hope that everyone likes reading what I have to offer. I wish I had more time in the day to read and write. I am always amazed by how much some AC contributors are able to produce. I'm kind of slow, but maybe as I hone my writing skills, I too, someday will be able to get more out there. Believe me when I say that you are all my favorites.
