We arranged to meet another couple there, and went to the one closest to us, which was at 1517 N. Central Expressway in Plano Texas.
We already had a coupon from the paper which gave us a buy one get one free deal on Lasagna and Spaghetti. So we already knew what we wanted. My wife ordered the 15 layer lasagna, and I ordered the Spaghetti Feast. That is spaghetti with meat sauce, Italian sausage, and meatballs.
Both of these dishes were excellent. The Spaghetti Warehouse makes their lasagna is made with layers of meat sauce, Italian Sausage, cheeses, herbs and spices and topped with their delicious meat sauce. Both my wife and I love lasagna as much as Garfield.
For an appetizer we got the Spinach Artichoke Dip. This is spinach, and artichoke hearts combined with cheese sauce and diced tomatoes and served with garlic bread. The way it is served is with four long pieces of garlic bread, and a spoon. You can spoon the dip onto the garlic bread, and let me tell you it is delicious. I heartily recommend it.
With dinner one of our friends ordered the Italian Wedding Soup. We had never heard of this before, so we asked what it was. It is chicken broth with diced chicken breast, tiny meatballs and noodles. Our friend said it was tasty.
The Spaghetti Warehouse has many other mouth-watering dishes. While I have never been to the Spaghetti Warehouse before myself, my wife has told me that their other dishes are wonderful. They have several different sauces you can get with spaghetti. You can get the standard meat sauce, marinara, beer chili, mushrooms in a beef sauce, and several others.
Other dishes at the Spaghetti Warehouse include Chicken Parmagiana, Chicken, Shrimp, and Fettuccini Alfredo, Ravioli with your choice of meat or cheese stuffed pastas.
They have a small but excellent wine list. I am not an expert on wine but the wines they offer sound good.
We got a dessert that would knock your socks off. What we had was called Warehouse Tiramisu. This is layers of coffee filled ladyfingers topped with rum flavored cream and topped with chocolate shavings and icing. We got just one order, and it was plenty between the two of us.
The service at the Spaghetti Warehouse in Plano, Texas is wonderful. Our serve was very attentive. If you are looking for a great dining experience in the Plano area, this is it.
