Shapes, patterns, smells, no end in sight,
I roam this earth, far and wide,
Imprinting the knowledge, as I glide,
The never ending beauty, of my world so dear,
Even if I go to sleep hungry, I have no fear,
For I know mother earth, will watch over me
She shall respect you, if thou respect thee,
From the most eastern point, in newfound land,
To the dry scorching heat, in Yucatan,
Your eyes would sparkle, to the sights I have seen
A feather on my back, you wish you had been
As I flap my wings, ever so hard,
As I try to go, ever so far
I realize, this could well be my last trip,
Life can end, so abruptly quick,
Hopefully my fellow roommates, can follow my way,
Visit your home, even if only a day,
And the perhaps your hearts will understand,
Why for mother earth, we must take a stand!
