A Food Product Review of Greenbrier Farms Creamy Peanut Butter

Yummy and Only One Dollar

Bridgitte Williams

I love peanut butter and enjoy this treat in many ways. Recently, I came across a small jar of Greenbrier Farms Creamy Peanut Butter in the canned foods section of my local favorite Dollar Tree store. The price of this peanut butter was right! I decided to purchase it, try it out and write a product review all about my personal experience with it. Here is what I discovered!

One ten ounce jar of Greenbrier Farms Creamy Peanut Butter was only one dollar at my local Dollar Tree store. Wow! I just loved that very food budget friendly price. Peanut butter can be so expensive now days. This brand wasn't. I truly appreciated that fact. Each jar has nine servings in it. Not bad! What drew my immediate attention to this product, besides it's low price, were the words "Compare to Jiff." I love Jiff brand peanut butter. This claim intrigued me. I just had to find out if it was as good or at least comparable. I could not wait to taste it!

I discovered that this product is made right here in the USA. Fantastic! The jar has a bright red top and a blue and red label. This peanut butter has no artificial colors, no artificial flavors and no preservatives. That is right. It is preservative free. Awesome! The ingredients are fresh roasted peanuts, sugar, vegetable oils, salt and molasses. That sounded so good. When I tasted Greenbrier Farms Creamy Peanut Butter, I loved it. It actually does taste very similar to Jiff. Astounding. It is creamy, rich and filled with fresh peanut flavor. I tried this peanut butter by the spoonful first, to get it's true flavor. It is delicious. I then made a peanut butter and jelly sandwich with it. It was yummy! I also had peanut butter and graham crackers, so I tried this product that way. It rocked! I could find nothing wrong with this product and everything right. I rate it five stars out of five stars. I will be buying it again. It is high in quality and it saves me money. I love that!

One serving has 180 calories. 120 of those calories come from fat. One serving has 15 grams of total fat, 2.5 grams of saturated fat, 0 grams of trans fat, 4.5 grams of polyunsaturated fat, 7 grams of monounsaturated fat, 0 mg's of cholesterol, yay, 140 mg's of sodium, 190 mg's of potassium, 8.5 grams of total carbs, 2 grams of dietary fiber, 3.5 grams of sugar and 7 grams of protein. This product does have a small amount of iron in it.

I loved trying Greenbrier Farms Creamy Peanut Butter and writing this product review about it. It is fantastic. Very good, creamy, rich and filling. It has the perfect sweetness. This one is a winner and I highly recommend it! The best one dollar peanut butter, for sure.

I found this peanut butter too, but, The dollar Tree hasn't had it for several weeks now and I wonder why. They don't seem to know when I've asked them. It seems that no one else carries it and, if they did, I bet it would cost more than $1.00.

All that is needed is a chunk of chocolate to go with it! : )

This would go well with the cinnamon graham crackers.
