Most die-hard professional football fans know that the 2009 Super Bowl XLIII is being held in Tampa Bay, Florida. If you are one of these fans, and are planning to attend the big game, you should have an idea what Super Bowl XLIII events are taking place before the game. Here you will find the top 4 events and their details.

First on the list of must-attend Super Bowl XLIII events is the NFL History Exhibit. This event is provided by Getty Images. It will feature 30 images from NFL history and will be located at the Florida Museum of Photographic Arts in Tampa Bay. This event will run from January 22, 2009 through January 31, 2009. The exhibit will be open from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, and tickets will cost $4.00 at the door.

The next two Super Bowl XLIII events are tied for second place. The first is the Super Tailgate Throwdown that will run from January 29, 2009 through January 31, 2009 at the Al Lopez Park in Tampa Bay. This particular Super Bowl XLIII event offers free admission. There will be live entertainment, a special area for kids, food, games, and so much more! You can enjoy he festivities on these days from 10:00 am until 7:00 pm.

After you have had your fill of that Super Bowl XLIII event, you can head over to the NFL Experience, which is the tied second place event. This event is hosted by the National Football League and will offer free football clinics, player autographs signings, a huge football card show, and NFL coach appearances. Admission is $12.50 for ages 12 & under, and $18.50 for adults. You can purchase tickets in advance at www.superbowl.com or at the gate. It will be located across from the James Raymond Stadium in Tampa Bay

Third on the list of must-attend Super Bowl XLIII events is the Pepsi Smash Super Bowl Bash concert. It is sponsored - of course - by Pepsi and will feature the top pop music artist performances. It will be on January 29, 2009 from 6:30 pm until 11:00 pm. The event location is the Ford Amphitheater in Tampa Bay. Tickets can be purchased in advance at www.ticketmaster.com or at the theater box office. Lawn spots are $20, seats are $40, and floor spots are $60.

The final must-attend Super Bowl XLIII event is PrimeSport's annual Pre-Game Hospitality Party, hosted by DeBartolo Sports. This year's theme will be James Bond. The party will feature food stations, open bars, and great meet and greet opportunities with NFL players. This event takes place on February 1, 2009 form 1:30 pm until 4:30 pm. Tickets are $495 and can be obtained by calling 1-800-591-9198.

Of course you cannot forget the whole purpose for all this hype: the Super Bowl XLIII game. The game is set for February 1, 2009 with a kick-off time of 6:00 pm. It will be located at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay, Florida. Come early, have fun, and cheer your favorite team on!
