A Fourth of July Cake That's Enjoyed by Any Age
Ingredients
1 box of cake mix, any kind considering this will not make the color of the cake
1 can of white frosting
1 cup of strawberries
1 cup of blueberries
1 20 oz. tub of Cool Whip
Prepare the cake mix per instruction on box. Frost the whole cake. Cut the strawberries into slices, starting from the top of the strawberries and set aside the widest pieces. with a strawbery cut-out, prepare the strawberries so if they are cut, all five points of the star are met and your cut-out looks like a star. From here, set out the strawberries on top of the cake, covering the top in any style you like, whether you like a spiral design, or just laying the star-cutted strawberries in random positions on the cake. Take the blueberries, one at a time, and set them on top of the strawberries.
This recipe is not only tasty, it serves as a great conversation piece for all to see.
