A Free Wedding Reading: Walk with Me

If This Fits, Feel Free to Use It

David A. Reinstein, LCSW

Walk with me as I stumble
Along life's sparkling and shadowed roads,
Across fields of lavender
And sharp brambles
Into and out of comforting
And frightening places.
Walk with me.

Share the moments of my path
As I shall share mine with you,
Four eyes are better than two
And two hearts are stronger
Than one.
Loneliness is a part of
The human condition and can never be
Fully extinguished
But being alone
Can.
Walk with me.

My being is strengthened
And more completed
When you are with me
And my journey
Transforms from one
Painted in uncertainties and fear
Into one caressed by adventure
And love.

Sometimes holding hands
Sometimes moving
Without touching
But striving to go in the same
Direction
Toward an agreed
Destination.
I will be walking
With you.

How timely! Our 3rd wedding anniversary is tomorrow, the 20th. Some days are good, some days are bad, but it helps to have a loving partner by your side.
