Thousands of people are at the festival of books with one thing in common; they are all writers and readers, children and adults are all there for the love of books.
There is so much to see and so much to do at any book festival, especially the L. A. Times Festival of Books because it is so large.
The cooking stages; the children's stages; the poets reading stages; the story book reading stages and the educational and interesting indoor events that take place on different stages and all the different book signing booths and other interesting booths; make a very interesting, fun and exciting day.
I was pleased that parents bought my children's books because they loved the message behind the story. The children loved the pictures; the parents checked the books out and told me that they loved the message that it sent to the kids.
It was so exciting to see all those people at the festival of books for the love of reading. It was an awesome day when readers and writers truly came together.
