"A time of Prayer, a time of drumming, a time for like minds to join in common intention for the Higher Good of the Planet Earth and her inhabitants." That seemed to be the consensus of the small gathering of artists, musicians, teachers, writers, mothers, grandmothers, light workers, hands on energy healers and assorted clergy that met at Hebe Park (more correctly Eagle's Park) in down town Roseburg Saturday evening. Mary Arthur and Susan Catron lit the first candles of Sacred Ceremony to coincide with 1:11 UT (5:11 PM). Aligning with Universal Time a little over an hour later, the small group joined spiritually with ceremonies being held around the world. "The Sacred Space of Prayers and Unity" was shared with thousands of individuals, groups, cultures, and belief systems worldwide. There was a joining of wishes, prayers, energies, and religions linked by a common thread of Love and Concern for the Earth and her inhabitants.
Mary Arthur, ordained interfaith minister, local historian and storyteller, spoke of intention, union, peace, family and miracles. As the group united the intentions and prayers of so many, she offered each participant an opportunity to voice their prayers for peace, love, remembrance and brotherhood. ShaRon and Devar, metaphysical ministers and energy workers sanctified ceremony with rattles and the solitary beat of one drum. Down town filled with the sound, echoing memories of that first heart beat. Mother's.
Every continent and most countries including Antarctica was linked to three ceremonies that had begun as "The Gathering of One" a collaboration of 4 individuals bringing together prayers for Peace, legends, prophecies, Holy People and Elders from all over the world. Joseph Crow (a man who had a vision of World Peace), G.W. Hardin (promoter and writer), Blue Thunder (Bennie LaBeau, Eastern Shoshone), and White Eagle Medicine Woman (Suraj Holzwarth, who is talented entertainer promoter) all came together to promote one of the largest gatherings of diverse cultures ever had.
When conflicts and protests arose and a difference in presentation style and purpose presented it's self, the well planned gathering degenerated into the chaos the collaborating factions being divided. The Gathering of One (New Age) was held three blocks from the entrance of Yellowstone National Park. The Super Yellowstone Star Dance (Native American) in the wilds of the Grand Tetons on the banks of the Buffalo River and a invitation only ceremony held on private lands in Bozeman Montana featuring Eagle Woman from Alaska and "GrandMother Drum", the largest drum ever created. That drum constructed to have long reaching physical and magical properties has toured the world being touched by hundreds and thousands of hands in preparation for this very event.
Indigenous Wisdom was called forward! Hopi, Mayan, Aztec, Achaur and South American Mamos prophecies point to this time in human history as the turning point for earthly evolution. Ancient prophecies of the Eagle flying with the Condor were being called into play with tribal elders, holy people, and public speakers being flown in from all over the world for this opportunity to circumvent world disaster by coming together in Peace and Prayer.
