A Ghost of a Date in Joliet

Stand Out from the Rest with This Ghost Hunting Date

Finding unique things to do to impress your date are getting harder to find. Here's a dating suggestion that you'll both find exciting. A date you'll never forget, a Ghost hunting date! Forget about going to the movies and take a tour of some of Joliet's most interesting haunts.

Start your evening with a meal at Baci Italian Ristorante in downtown Plainfield. Baci Italian Ristorante took over the St. Mary's Parish building a few years ago. They have remodeled the inside you can still see much of the original church structure. According to The Will County Ghost Hunter's Society, which did a paranormal investigation on the building in 2007, ghostly voices can be heard on recording they took during their investigation, which were not audible at the time of the taping. For more information and to hear these tapes visit their website. Other patrons of the restaurant have experienced cold spots and a feeling of being watched while alone downstairs near the restrooms.

Even if you don't believe in Ghost, Baci Italian Ristorante is a great place for Italian food and pizza. The menu prices are very reasonable and you'll have a something to talk about while waiting for your meal.

Afterwards, you may wish to see a show at the Rialto Square Theater. I highly recommend if you plan to see a show at this haunted place that you purchase tickets prior to visiting.

The Rialto Square Theater is purported to have a number of visiting ghosts. One ghostly female is thought to have been an actress. She must have enjoyed acting in this great theater because it's been said she can be seen walking up and down the isles.

Another paranormal event report in the theater is about a spirit couple, who haunt the theater balconies. According to the legend, the pair fell to their deaths. Others have reported periods of icy coldness, strange noises, objects that seemingly move of their own accord, and the feeling that they have been touched.

The Rialto Square Theater is a beautiful place to see plays and concerts. So enjoy a ghostly night of dinner and theater. Who knows what other adventures await you as you visit some of Joliet's most interesting haunts.
